Football, sailing, and the new waterfront.
The sailboat racing season is over - off to the fair, and catching up with friends.
Happy Sunday!
I hope you are well, and that there is calm around you and yours
Things are going well here. The sailing season has come to an end with us winning the last Wednesday night race of the year, but not quite being able to climb onto the podium for the series. I'm very proud of how we have sailed this season as a team, and I have confidence that we will be in good shape to really enjoy the process next year of the preparations for the North Americans.
The next step in our journey is that Alex and I will be attending a week-long on-the-water performance sailing clinic next week, where we will be taught and coached. We are both looking forward to that.
In other news, our friends Jana, Julie, Nina, and Christoph are in town from Berlin. Julie is 15 and will be attending Ballard Highschool for a semester. I had the chance to take them out sailing, then down to the waterfront for the grand opening of the new waterfront park, and then I yesterday Scott and I took them down to the puyallup fair, where we rode some rides, ate some not good for us food, and saw the animals. I always enjoy going to the fair ;)
Last weekend I rode my bike down to the stadiums and went to see the home opener for the Seahawks season with my friends Tom and Lori. It was a ton of fun, but alas, the Seahawks threw it away at the end of the game. It was cool that Steve Largent and Jim Zorn raised the 12 flag before the game.
Today I am going to hang out with Curt for a while, then we will see our friends Alan and Sara, before watching the Seattle Storm playoff game this evening.
Love ya

Me, Leigh, Bruve, Greg and Steve. Bruce hired me at Expedia in 2005, Leigh picked me up on my first day, and all of worked so closely the first couple of years I was there. This was a reunion of our Pirate day celebrations that we used to do.
